The Kenmar Medical Office Building, a 60,000 sq. ft, four story building located at 833 Campbell Street in Marietta, Georgia, has been purchased from an overseas owner by a partnership led by Keel Funds, LLC.

The building sits on a roughly five-acre pad walking distance from the Wellstar’s Kennestone Hospital. Keel Funds is planning to make significant capital improvements to the facility including elevator and air conditioning upgrades plus a redesign of the common areas.

“This is an older medical office building in an incredibly convenient location for anyone associated with Kennestone Hospital.” said Keel Funds Managing Partner, Chris Carlton. “We plan to convert the building from a Class B to a Class B+ property while keeping the leasing rates very inexpensive. We have some terrific tenants and we are looking forward to making improvements that will greatly improve their daily experience.”

Kenmar Medical Office Building is one of several commercial real estate investments managed by Keel Funds. The firm is also involved in other off-market direct investments in the health & wellness and consumer products space.
